iDICs 2026: Digital Image Correlation Meets Mechanics in Ho Chi Minh City
From November 2 to 5, the International Digital Image Correlation Society (iDICs) holds its annual meeting in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This year it runs jointly with ICECM 2026, the International Conference on Experimental and Computational Mechanics. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) is the host, with the Asian Society for Experimental Mechanics co-hosting ICECM.
That pairing is what we're looking forward to. An iDICs meeting on its own is a room of people who already agree that full-field measurement is worth the trouble. Put it next to a mechanics conference and the DIC results meet the people who build the models those results get compared against. Those are harder conversations. They are also the useful ones.
The keynotes cover the range. Professor Yu-Lung Lo of National Cheng Kung University speaks on AI-assisted models in laser technology for the semiconductor industry. Professor Motoharu Fujigaki of the University of Fukui speaks on phase analysis and device development for optical metrology, and Professor Jian Xiong of Harbin Institute of Technology on carbon fiber composite honeycomb materials.
Correlated Solutions is a proud sponsor of the joint conference, and there will be a large group of our engineers in attendance. If you're going, come and find us.
Registration closes October 31, and on-site registration is available. The tentative agenda and details are on the conference site.
