2021 iDICs Wrap-Up

We are pleased to announce that Hubert W. Schreier, co-founder and CEO of Correlated Solutions, was recently elected to the grade of Fellow at the 2021 International Digital Image Correlation Society (iDICs) conference in Nantes, France. This award is in recognition of Dr. Schreier's distinguished contributions to the field through a combination of software developments and advanced applications of digital image correlation methods.

As founding members of iDICs, Correlated Solutions has had a close relationship with this key organization for many years. Dr. Schreier joins fellow CSI co-founder Dr. Stephen McNeill as iDICs Fellow. The third founder of CSI, Dr. Michael Sutton served as the first president of the organization.

We are excited about many exciting developments that emerged from the 2021 conference, especially the DIC Challenge which aims " to advance the practice of DIC through collective efforts that point to optimum methodologies. The DIC Challenge is conducted under the auspices of the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM) and iDICs under the direction of the DIC Challenge board."
