Long Range Triggering

DIC at a distance

Large-scale or potentially dangerous applications often require the cameras to be mounted far apart from each other or far away from the acquisition computer. Long-range cabling is available for most of our camera systems including USB3, CoaXpress, and ethernet. Ethernet repeaters, extenders, and hubs are available to overcome virtually any long-range triggering challenge. Up to 100 meters is commonly achieved for USB3 and Ethernet cameras, while CoaXpress is currently limited to 20m.

Correlated Solutions has provided such systems to space companies/agencies for imaging large rocket articles inside vacuum chambers, and for field applications involving large wind turbine measurements. There’s virtually no application we can’t handle. Call us today for more information.

NASA 360° Buckling Test with Real-Time Module

Cylindrical rocket shells are subject to lifting loads referred to as a “Shell Buckling Knockdown Factor” or SBKF. The available technology for original SBKF models in the 1960’s limited the accuracy of these models. DIC changed all that.
